Account and registration

Opening, managing and closing your LEON account.

6 questions

Accounts are open to people aged 18 and over, one account per person. The name on your account must match your identification and the payment methods you use.

Select Register, then enter your email, a password and your date of birth, followed by your name and address. It takes about a minute. You can opt in to the welcome offer during sign-up.

No. Only one account is allowed per person, household, device and payment method. Duplicate accounts are closed and any bonuses or winnings gained through them may be voided.

Use the Forgot password link on the log in screen and follow the reset email. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder, then contact support.

You can change your password and preferences in account settings. To change your name, date of birth or address, contact support, as these may need new documents to verify.

Use the closure option in account settings or ask support. Any withdrawable balance is paid to you after verification. If you want a firmer block, choose self-exclusion instead.

Verification

Why we check identity and how to get through it quickly.

5 questions

We are required to confirm the age, identity and address of every customer, and to make sure payouts reach the right person. Verification must be complete before your first withdrawal.

A current government-issued photo ID such as a passport or driver licence, and a proof of address dated within the last three months, such as a utility bill or bank statement. We may also ask for proof of payment method ownership.

Most documents are reviewed within a few hours. Clear, uncropped photos showing all four corners of a current document are the fastest route through.

The usual reasons are a blurry or cropped image, an expired document, details that do not match your account, or a proof of address that is too old. Support will tell you what to resend.

Documents are transmitted encrypted and access is restricted to the team that needs it. See our Privacy Policy for how your information is handled.

Deposits and withdrawals

Adding funds, cashing out and what to do when a payment is delayed.

6 questions

The methods available to you, with their minimum and maximum amounts, are shown in the cashier once you sign in. You can only use payment methods registered in your own name.

Most deposits are credited within minutes. If yours has not arrived, check your transaction history, then contact support with the payment reference and the time you made it.

Every withdrawal is checked before release, and verification must be complete. After approval, the time it takes to reach you depends on the payment method you chose.

Withdrawals stay pending while they are reviewed, while verification is outstanding, or if a bonus still has wagering left to complete. Support can tell you exactly which applies.

Withdrawals normally go back to the method you deposited with, where it supports payouts. If it does not, you can withdraw to another verified method in your name.

Treat every withdrawal as final. If you are tempted to reverse withdrawals to keep playing, consider setting a deposit limit from account settings.

Casino, pokies and live games

How games work, fairness, and what happens when something goes wrong.

5 questions

Games come from established studios whose outcomes are produced by certified random number generators. Each game’s rules and return-to-player figure are available in its information panel.

Return to player is the share of total stakes a game is designed to pay back over a very large number of rounds. It is a long-run average, not a prediction of what you will win in a session.

Rounds are settled on the game server, not in your browser. Reopen the game and it will either resume or show the settled result in your history.

Live tables are streamed in real time from studios with real dealers. You place bets on screen during the betting window, and results are settled as soon as the round ends.

Volatility describes how a pokie pays. Low-volatility games pay smaller amounts more often; high-volatility games pay less often but can pay larger amounts. Our volatility guide explains more.

Sports and esports betting

Placing bets, odds and how markets are settled.

5 questions

Decimal odds. Multiply your stake by the odds to get your total return, including stake. A A$10 bet at 2.50 returns A$25 if it wins.

Add selections from different events to your bet slip, choose Multi and enter one stake. Every leg must win for the multi to pay. Selected competitions qualify for a multi boost.

Yes, on events marked live. In-play odds move quickly, and a bet may be rejected or re-priced if the odds change before it is accepted.

Bets are settled on the official result once the event ends, according to the rules for that sport and market. Most settle within minutes of the final result.

Common reasons are an event being cancelled or postponed, a player not starting where the market requires it, or a clear pricing error. The stake on a void bet is returned to your balance.
